About Peak

An independent physical therapy clinic in Monroe, Washington

We opened Peak to practice the way we believe orthopedic and sports physical therapy should be delivered: unhurried appointments, continuity of care, and a plan you understand.

Our story

Built around time with the patient

Peak Orthopedic & Sports Physical Therapy was founded on a straightforward frustration: too many clinics schedule therapists across several patients at once, and the quality of care suffers for it.

We built Peak to work the other way around. Appointments are long enough to do real work. Caseloads are set so therapists have time to think about their patients between visits. And patients stay with the same therapist, because continuity is not a luxury — it's what makes a plan of care coherent.

Monroe is a community of people who work with their hands, play hard outdoors, and don't much like sitting still. Our patients include warehouse workers, nurses, contractors, high school athletes, weekend runners, and retirees who intend to keep their garden. What they have in common is wanting to get back to something specific.

That's the work. Not just fewer symptoms — a return to the thing you were doing before.

What guides us

Mission and treatment philosophy

Our goal

To provide each patient with individualized, professional, hands-on care to return you to recreational activities, sports, work and life activities as soon as possible. All of this is done in a friendly, nurturing, healing environment.

Our treatment philosophy

Good physical therapy is a partnership. We assess carefully, explain what we find in plain language, combine skilled hands-on treatment with progressive exercise, and adjust as your body responds. We won't promise outcomes we can't control, and we won't keep you coming longer than is useful.

Our commitment to the community

We support local schools, sports programs, and community events, and we work to be a clinic that neighbors are comfortable recommending to each other. Being local isn't a marketing angle for us — it's where we live.

What's different

Why patients choose a small clinic

These aren't slogans — they're scheduling and staffing decisions we make on purpose, and they're the reason care here feels different.

  • Time with your therapist

Appointments are scheduled so your therapist can spend time not only evaluating your needs, but starting treatment that day.

  • The same faces each visit

You'll see the same therapy team through your plan of care. They know your history, so every visit picks up where the last one left off.

  • Care you understand

We explain what we're finding, what we're doing, and why. Patients who understand their plan tend to stick with it.

  • Hands-on and active

Manual therapy and progressive exercise work better together than either does alone. We use both, and we tell you which is doing what.

  • Goals that are actually yours

Getting back to a full shift, a hiking trail, or a night of uninterrupted sleep. We build the plan around what you want back.

  • A clinic rooted in Snohomish County

We live here too. Our patients are neighbors, teammates, coworkers, and the people we see outside the clinic as well.

Our community

Rooted in Monroe, open to all of Washington

Monroe sits where the Skykomish and Snoqualmie valleys meet the Cascade foothills, and the way people here spend their time shapes the injuries we see.

Our patients come from Monroe and the surrounding communities, and from much farther afield — people travel across Washington to be seen here. They are farm and warehouse workers, nurses and contractors, high school athletes, trail runners, and retirees who have no intention of slowing down. Wherever you're coming from, you'll be treated like a neighbor.
