Practice the way you were trained to
Peak is a small, independent clinic in Monroe, Washington. We keep caseloads reasonable, invest in our clinicians, and give the people doing the work a real say in how it gets done.
Why Peak
What working here actually looks like
Every clinic says it values its clinicians. These are the specific decisions we make that back it up.
Caseloads that let you practice well
One patient at a time, with schedules built so you can prepare, treat, and document without staying late. Clinicians here are not asked to double- or triple-book.
Mentorship that isn't an afterthought
New graduates get structured mentorship with a specific clinician, protected time for case review, and gradual caseload ramp-up. Experienced therapists get colleagues who want to talk about hard cases.
Continuing education, supported
An annual CE allowance plus dedicated time to use it. We'd rather fund the course you actually want than hand out a generic subscription.
Real work-life balance
Predictable weekday scheduling, no weekend requirement, and paid time off that people are genuinely encouraged to use.
A voice in how the clinic runs
This is a small practice. Clinicians here influence scheduling, equipment decisions, and how care is delivered — because they're close enough to the work to know what's needed.
The Cascade foothills out the door
Monroe sits at the edge of the Cascades: trails, rivers, and mountains within minutes, with Seattle and Everett close enough for whatever the small-town version doesn't cover.
Our culture
Small enough that your judgment matters
There's no layer of management between you and the decisions that shape your day. If something about how we schedule or treat isn't working, you say so and we change it.
Clinicians here meet regularly to talk through complex cases and share what they picked up from a recent course. Newer therapists are paired with a specific mentor and ramp into a full caseload gradually — not thrown into one on day three.
We also take time off seriously. Coverage is planned so people can actually be away without leaving colleagues underwater.
Living here
Monroe, Washington — mountains out the back door
Monroe sits at the edge of the Cascade foothills where the Skykomish and Snoqualmie valleys meet, about 30 miles northeast of Seattle.
Trailheads, rivers, and climbing are minutes away. Stevens Pass is an easy drive. Housing costs are meaningfully lower than in the Seattle core, and Everett and Seattle are close enough for anything a small town doesn't cover.
It's also a genuine community — the kind where your patients are people you see at the farmers market, and that changes how it feels to do this work.
