Orthopedic and Spine Rehabilitation

Evaluation and treatment for joint, muscle, and tendon problems, neck and back pain, and recovery after orthopedic surgery.

About orthopedic and spine rehabilitation at Peak

Orthopedic and spine rehabilitation addresses the joints, muscles, tendons, and ligaments that carry you through daily life — along with the neck and back problems that interrupt nearly everything else. Whether your pain started in a single moment or built slowly over months, the goal is the same: understand why it is happening, then give you a clear plan to work on it.

Spine care makes up a large share of this work. Neck and back pain rarely has one simple cause, so the evaluation looks at how the spine moves, how the surrounding muscles are working, and what daily positions and loads may be feeding the problem. Much of the benefit comes from understanding your symptoms well enough to stop avoiding movement.

This is also where post-surgical recovery is managed, working from your surgeon's protocol and progressing as the tissue allows. Care begins with an unhurried evaluation, and most plans combine hands-on treatment with progressive exercise and practical guidance you can use between visits.

What to expect

  1. A thorough initial evaluation with a licensed physical therapist, generally 60 minutes.
  2. A conversation about your goals — returning to work, sleeping comfortably, or getting back on the trail.
  3. Hands-on assessment of spinal and joint mobility, strength, and movement quality.
  4. A written home program you can actually fit into your week.
  5. Regular reassessment so the plan changes as you do.
